Our Team

Sam is responsible for developing and managing technical projects at iCAST. He has more than 12 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer developing and implementing numerous community- and industrial-scale projects that produce heat and electricity from wind, solar, or bio-energy, and produce biodiesel from locally sustainable feedstock. His expertise includes more than eight years of solar, wind and bio-energy resource analysis, conducting workshops and curriculum development. Prior to working at iCAST, Anderson also helped to conduct extensive energy efficiency potential studies for Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and Hoosier Energy. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 1998.
