The featured speaker is Derek Scarth, Managing Director for Inspire Capital Partners
Derek is the Managing Director of Inspire Capital Partners, a company that invests in high integrity firms around the globe that include key stakeholders to measure performance. Previously, Derek was a Partner at Denver Investments LLC and served as Co-Portfolio Manager on the Westcore Large-Cap Growth Fund. In 2003, Derek was the Investor Relations Manager for publicly-traded Newmont Mining Corporation (NEM-NYSE). Derek holds degrees from Regis University (BA) and the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business (MSM). Derek is a co-founder of the Denver Financial Consortium, which is a local group designed to bring the best and brightest of Denver’s business environment together to network, promote business opportunities, and address the pressing issues within our community.
