ResourceSmart Golden and iCAST are always looking for new, qualified energy assessors to participate in our program to conduct energy assessments for both homes and businesses. With energy assessments being requested for the entire City of Golden, we have a need for local qualified individuals and companies to come and join our network. In order to qualify to become one of our energy assessors, you must meet the following requirements:
- · BPI Building Analyst professional certification or RESNET credentials; must be current and in good standing
- · At least 5 years of experience conducting residential or commercial energy assessments
- · Have completed a minimum 50 energy assessments – commercial, residential or a combination.
- · Required paperwork for company including insurance.
- · References from 5 customers you have completed energy assessments for in the last 12 months.
- · Must have the required equipment, including: a blower door, infrared camera and a CO analyzer.
* Note: Our quality check process includes an iCAST representative inspecting and reviewing your first two program energy assessments.
