Description: iCAST, in partnership with Green Jobs Outsourcing Brokers, LLC, facilitated Building Performance Institute training for 18 people in Denver. This training helps individuals prepare for BPI Certification for residential energy efficiency retrofits and weatherization.
Project: Adams Country Solar Training

Description: iCAST, in partnership with Sustainable Solutions, Inc, facilitated a trainin course designed to provide the participants with a basic understanding of solar power systems, including solar thermal and solar photovoltaic. The goal was to help trainees obtain the needed knowledge and basic experience to move towards a career in the solar energy field.
Project: EOC Energy Efficiency Education

Description: iCAST received funding from Energy Outreach Colorado to provide education and outreach programs that would promote consumer-driven energy solutions to residents and clients of the owners’ facilities. The intention is that this education will lead to a shift in thought and behavior that will result in cost effective energy utilization and greater environmental consideration in regard to energy consumption habits. iCAST has a current and interactive energy education program that can be specifically tailored to the needs of the owner.
Project: WIRED Energy Efficiency Workforce Training
Client: Employment and Training Administration -WIRED Grant

Description: iCAST along with several partners, received funding from the ETA to develop workforce training programs across Colorado. iCAST, the lead agency in the project, directed and managed several workforce training programs which incorporated various areas such as Energy Efficiency, Solar and Wind Energy Applications, Green Building and more. The purpose of this project was to help produce an energy efficiency workforce for a new energy economy.
Project: Green Energy Construction Training
Client: Mi Casa

Description: iCAST, under contract of Mi Casa, is responsible for a comprehensive training course on Green Energy Construction. This instructor-led course helps students understand how to green traditional construction jobs and empowers them with an understanding of current economic and environmental trends. This training will position entry-level green construction workers at the forefront of the emerging green economy and enhance their competitiveness in the construction green collar industry.
Project: Main Street Power Commercial Solar Training

Description: iCAST, with the help of Main Street Power Commercial, is responsible for customizing a 40-hour Solar PV introduction and installation curriculum and final exam. This includes designing of the actual curriculum, as well as training of the instructors. iCAST will provide these development and training services which support Main Street Power Commercial’s goals and objectives.
Project: Energy Efficiency Auditing Program

Description: With funding provided by Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC) and Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), iCAST designed and taught a comprehensive course on performing energy audits. The course was designed to deliver key concepts and approaches to evaluating the energy efficiency of a residential home to provide solid recommendations for cost effective improvements. Participants in the course were taught business skills as well as technical skills relating to performing an energy efficiency audit.
Project: JeffCo ‘Green Jobs’ Workforce Training Initiative

Description: iCAST, with the help of Jefferson County Workforce Center (JCWC), organized a Green Jobs Workforce Training Initiative. The overall goal of this project is to help educate the JeffCo Work Force Center and its partners in order to help put more unemployed people to work in the “Green Jobs” industry. With the help of iCAST, JCWC is better prepared to train the new generation of “Green” workers.
