ICAST Launches Project SunLight: Bringing Solar Energy to Multifamily Affordable Housingment


ICAST was selected to receive ~$1 Million award from the U.S. Department of Energy, Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) to develop new ways to accelerate the adoption of photovoltaic (PV) technologies. The project will develop, coordinate, and pilot a new approach that partners with local utility’s, multifamily affordable housing property owners, investors and other stakeholders, to create a shared solar model that can aggregate multiple properties into one project.

Large Scale Green Retrofits Continue for ICAST Teams


In Albuquerque, NM, ICAST will perform lighting upgrades in 122 units across two Uptown Square Apartment Buildings. In West Jordan, Utah, ICAST will be replacing all interior and exterior lighting as well as installing Nest Thermostats and aerators in 288 units at the Woodgate Apartments. Finally, ICAST will be upgrading all the exterior lighting at the Sandpiper Apartments in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The ICAST Staff Grows


October welcomes new employees to ICAST.  Nick Grahf has joined the team as the DSM Manager.He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and six years working in the industry. In Salt Lake City, Hayden Miller has been hired as an Assistant Site Supervisor. Please help us in welcoming them to the team.

Large Scale Green Retrofits Continue for ICAST Teams


The West Coast Electric Highway - one of the longest electrified corridors in the World - is demonstrating that electric vehicles are here for the long haul. The West Coast States of California, Oregon, Washington and the Canadian province of British Columbia laid out a shared vision to promote the use of biofuels, hybrids, electric or zero-emission vehicles, and hydrogen fueled vehicles.
