Multifamily Weatherization Assistance Program
Pennsylvania’s Multifamily Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) provides a cost-effective approach to lowering operating expenses, maintaining affordability, and creating healthier, more comfortable living environments for low-income families living in buildings with 5 or more units.

How it Works
Step 1: An energy audit of the property is conducted to identify needs;
Step 2: The property is weatherized; and
Step 3: The property is inspected to ensure the quality of work completed.
Eligibility Requirements
□ Subsidized multifamily properties with HUD Project Based subsidies, Public Housing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (“LIHTC”), or USDA-RD.
□ Or multifamily properties with a minimum of 66% of its tenants with an income at or below 80% of the Area Minimum Income or 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
