Mr. Malhotra is an experienced engineer and social entrepreneur who has established a variety of enterprises in India, Africa and the US with an emphasis on sustainable technologies. He is currently focused on finding financially sustainable models to solve the U.S. affordable housing crisis while tackling climate change through the efforts of ICAST and TBL Fund. Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and master’s degrees in both engineering and business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Marcia leads ICAST’s financial, accounting, and administrative functions. Marcia is a former CPA and has experience as a commercial banker. Marcia holds a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver.

John manages the operations of ICAST’s Multifamily Building Retrofit program. He has extensive experience in green construction, project scope development, subcontractor relations, process mapping and systems development and has been a member of the committee for the Dept. of Energy to develop energy efficiency training for managers of multifamily properties. John received his B.S. in computer science and business management from Metro State University, and his B.S. in natural resource management from Colorado State University.

Linda is leading ICAST marketing, branding, and sales strategic efforts. She has won multiple awards as a marketing professional and has over 20 years’ experience in increasing revenue and brand awareness. She previously owned one of Colorado’s most successful multifamily home-building companies, Amber Homes. Linda is an accredited PR professional and holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Rachel develops ICAST’s program and project capacity by raising impact investments, establishing new programs, and ensuring programmatic regulatory compliance. Rachel is passionate about making housing greener and more affordable, and has experience as a Policy Coordinator for the South Central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource and as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She has a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ed manages ICAST’s various rehab and grant programs. He was a Product Marketing Manager for Arrow Electronics before he decided he wanted shift gears to work in a career focused on sustainability. Ed completed a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver. He enjoys volunteering at Swallow Hill Music Association, Colorado Mountain Biking Association, and Rocky Mountain Wild.
Rob conducts energy audits, capital need assessments, and energy modeling for ICAST projects. He has worked in construction for more than 25 years. Rob holds a general contractor’s license, a BPI building analyst certification, NATE certification for HVAC, and is an EPA certified renovator.
Business Development Executive
Matt Naughton, ICAST’s Business Development Executive in New Mexico, brings very unique experience to our team: a background that ranges from banker to cowboy along with expertise in technology, investment banking, agriculture and construction. More recently, Matt was general manager for a GB98 contracting company in Albuquerque that specializes in servicing multifamily communities. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, golf and traveling.

Ryan works in several capacities for ICAST including writing proposals for grants, creating business development opportunities, and assisting with various marketing functions. Ryan has several years of non-profit development experience and graduated with a B.A. in history and philosophy from the University of Connecticut. He is an AmeriCorps VISTA alumni and is passionate about making a positive impact in the world.

Sue has many years of experience working in community relations with a global financial services corporation, including work in their Foundation and its Environmental Affairs unit. This experience gave her the opportunity to learn about the importance of sustainability. In that vein, Sue is pleased to work at ICAST in helping to further its goals.

Suzi assists the staff in various administrative aspects at ICAST. She has a background in a variety of different fields, including administrative, criminal justice, customer service, retail, and music. She is a recent graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a B.A. in music and a women’s studies minor. Suzi is happy to contribute and grow in an administrative capacity at ICAST to further its mission.
Senior Project Manager

Cindy manages all administrative aspects of ICAST’s green rehab projects. She has over 24 years of experience in management, administration, finance, information technology, training, end-to-end business processes, and business development. Cindy has a degree in accounting from Denver Metro State College.
Dr. JP McDaniels
JP manages ICAST’s resident engagement program. She is responsible for creating the educational materials and training programs and delivering the behavior change outreach. JP has taught at Naropa University, DeVry University, Red Rocks Community College, Colorado School of Mines, Westwood College and ITT Technical College, and worked as an editor, reporter, and technical writer. JP has a Masters level teaching certificate from Regis University, a Ph.D from Union Institute & University, as well as certifications in mediation, collaborative communications and engaged service learning.
Marketing & Business Development Fellow

Ben coordinates various marketing campaigns at ICAST. He recently graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in environmental policy, and has experience working for nonprofits and state government. Ben’s fellowship is facilitated by the Public Interest Fellowship Program at Colorado College. Ben is also a co-founder and board member of a nonprofit media collective in Colorado Springs.
Scott Hays, P.E.
Client Solutions Manager
Scott leads ICAST’s green consulting services, managing client projects from green rehabilitation baseline modeling to predictive analysis and energy certification ratings for new construction. He has a diverse 14 years of industry experience varying from project based electrical design to manufacturer based account management. Scott is a licensed Professional Engineer with a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Energy Efficiency Engineer

Nick identifies and implements energy efficient residential building practices and systems to support ICAST’s Green Rehab initiative. He brings a broad background in design, manufacturing, and industrial and residential construction project management. Nick is a certified BPI Building Energy Analyst and holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University.
Pay for Success Fellow

Brett is collaborating with the Sorenson Impact Center to study the feasibility of applying a Social Innovation Fund Pay For Success model to effectively carry out green renovations and interventions for multifamily housing. He has experience developing and executing energy and water efficiency projects in commercial facilities within the government sector. Brett is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Energy Manager and enjoys volunteering as the Secretary of the Society of American Military Engineers Denver Metro Post as well as spending time with his family.
Field Project Manager
Rudy manages construction projects for ICAST. Rudy possesses over 28 years of engineering and construction management experience for various commercial, military, and residential clients in a variety of industries including mine reclamation, contaminated site remediation, heavy construction, commercial and residential projects, and building maintenance. He is an enrolled Pueblo of Laguna Tribal Member of Laguna, New Mexico. Rudy received his degree in mining and minerals engineering from New Mexico’s Institute of Mining and Technology.
Alice is currently Junior at Northeastern University in Boston, MA studying environmental studies and international affairs. Alice previously worked for the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center in Boston, which piqued her interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and innovation. Alice is happy to be back in her home state working on marketing campaigns for ICAST.
