Ravi Malhotra

Ravi is an experienced engineer and social entrepreneur who has established a variety of enterprises in India, Africa and the US with an emphasis on sustainable technologies. He is currently focused on finding financially sustainable models to solve the U.S. affordable housing crisis while tackling climate change through the efforts of ICAST and TBL Fund. Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and master’s degrees in both engineering and business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Marcia leads ICAST’s financial, accounting, and administrative functions. She is a former CPA and has experience as a commercial banker. Marcia holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver.

John manages the operations of ICAST’s Multifamily Building Retrofit program. He has extensive experience in green construction, project scope development, subcontractor relations, process mapping and systems development and has been a member of the committee for the Dept. of Energy to develop energy efficiency training for managers of multifamily properties. John received his B.S. in computer science and business management from Metro State University, and his B.S. in natural resource management from Colorado State University.

Ryan works in several capacities for ICAST including writing proposals for grants, creating business development opportunities, and assisting with various marketing functions. Ryan has several years of non-profit development experience and graduated with a B.A. in history and philosophy from the University of Connecticut. He is an AmeriCorps VISTA alumni and is passionate about making a positive impact in the world.

Ed manages ICAST’s various rehab and grant programs. He was a Product Marketing Manager for Arrow Electronics before he decided he wanted shift gears to work in a career focused on sustainability. Ed completed a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver. He enjoys volunteering at Swallow Hill Music Association, Colorado Mountain Biking Association, and Rocky Mountain Wild.

Matt Naughton, ICAST’s Business Development Executive in New Mexico, brings very unique experience to our team: a background that ranges from banker to cowboy along with expertise in technology, investment banking, agriculture and construction. More recently, Matt was general manager for a GB-98 contracting company in Albuquerque that specializes in servicing multifamily housing. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, golf and traveling.

Dawn manages the DSM program in Utah, focusing on energy saving measures within multifamily communities.  Dawn has 30+ years of experience in the housing industry, with extensive background in areas including multi-family operations and renovations. Dawn offers training and expertise in the latest market trends and has been recognized multiple times in the industry.  Dawn has receiving awards for Outstanding Customer Service and Vendor Partner of the Year by the Utah Apartment Association, where she serves as a board member and is co-chair on the Community Service Committee

Drew brings in new business for our multifamily retrofit and green consulting services. He previously worked in international development, founding and managing a nonprofit empowering youth in Cambodia. Prior to that, he worked in sales of HVAC and electrical training seminars. Drew holds a B.S. in business finance and an MBA from Colorado State University. He is passionate about energy efficiency, and loves to spend time outdoors with his family.

Perla brings over 15 years of accounting and administrative support experience to the ICAST team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has previous non-profit experience as well. Perla is bi-lingual (English and Spanish) and her hobbies include baking and gardening.

Jeremiah is the on-site project manager located in Albuquerque, NM. He has 15 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry and received his Bachelors of Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Jeremiah has resided in Albuquerque for 33 years and looks forward to making his city a better place to live. When he is not working, Jeremiah can be found spending time with wife and children or out hunting and fishing.

Ian manages ICAST’s engineering team and the wide array of consulting work including PACE, RAD, and EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) projects that ICAST takes on. Ian has a background in solar installation and design and holds a NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification. He received his B.S. in Energy-Focused Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has extensive programming and energy modeling experience. Ian is an avid biker and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Nick identifies and implements energy efficient residential building systems for ICAST’s Operations Team. He brings a broad background in design, manufacturing, and industrial and residential construction project management.  Nick is a certified BPI Building Energy Analyst and holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University.

Brett is collaborating with the Sorenson Impact Center to study the feasibility of applying a social enterprise pay-for-success model to effectively carry out green renovations and interventions for multifamily housing. He has experience developing and executing energy and water efficiency projects in commercial facilities within the government sector. Brett is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Energy Manager and enjoys volunteering as the Secretary of the Society of American Military Engineers Denver Metro Post, as well as spending time with his family.

Rob conducts energy audits, capital need assessments, and energy modeling for ICAST projects. He has worked in construction for more than 25 years.  Rob holds a general contractor’s license, a BPI building analyst certification, NATE certification for HVAC, and is an EPA certified renovator.

JP manages ICAST’s resident engagement program. She is responsible for creating the educational materials and training programs and delivering the behavior change outreach. JP has taught at Naropa University, DeVry University, Red Rocks Community College, Colorado School of Mines, Westwood College and ITT Technical College, and worked as an editor, reporter, and technical writer. JP has a Masters level teaching certificate from Regis University, a Ph.D from Union Institute & University, as well as certifications in mediation, collaborative communications and engaged service learning.

Nick is the Field Project manager for Salt Lake City, Utah. Nick has been in the construction industry for the last twenty years focusing on projects ranging from residential, commercial, and new construction exteriors. He has been expanding his knowledge of alternative energy systems from hands on application from building off the grid cabins. In his spare time, he can be found skiing, fishing, camping, or whitewater kayaking.

Gagee has completed her undergraduate in mechanical engineering  from Mumbai University. After understanding the existing mechanical process are responsible for climate change and increased pollution levels, Gagee continued her academics and received a Master degree in Energy and Electromechanical Systems from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in urge to make existing mechanical process more energy efficient. She is passionate about working in the field of renewable energy and excited to bring her skillsets to ICAST. Other than work she enjoys traveling, watching movies and cooking.

Pat has extensive experience with Supply Chain Management, holding Executive and Senior Leadership positions in diversified industries with projects & operations of up to $2.5 billion dollars. His experience includes procurement, contracts, logistics, ERP Systems and on-site support locations both domestic and internationally, including working in Antarctica. Pat is assisting ICAST on setting up their procurement/contracts, business processes activities to support their growth and future goals. Pat is very active in the BMW car club, outdoor activities, and you may run into him on one of his international adventures.
