Ravi is an experienced engineer and social entrepreneur who has established a variety of enterprises in India, Africa and the US with an emphasis on sustainable technologies. He is currently focused on finding financially sustainable models to solve the U.S. affordable housing crisis while tackling climate change through the efforts of ICAST and TBL Fund. Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and master’s degrees in both engineering and business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sue has many years of experience working in community relations with a global financial services corporation, including work in their Foundation and its Environmental Affairs unit. This experience gave her the opportunity to learn about the importance of sustainability. In that vein, Sue is pleased to work at ICAST in helping to further its goals.

Marcia leads ICAST’s financial, accounting, and administrative functions. She is a former CPA and has experience as a commercial banker. Marcia holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver.

Perla brings over 15 years of accounting and administrative support experience to the ICAST team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has previous non-profit experience as well. Perla is bi-lingual (English and Spanish) and her hobbies include baking and gardening.

Leah graduated college in May with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting. While in school, she held part-time jobs that involved mainly administrative tasks. Leah is passionate about the environment, and believes affordable housing is important in times and areas of high rent. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, cooking, and reading.

Ryan works in several capacities for ICAST including writing proposals for grants, creating business development opportunities, and assisting with various marketing functions. Ryan has several years of non-profit development experience and graduated with a B.A. in history and philosophy from the University of Connecticut. He is an AmeriCorps VISTA alumni and is passionate about making a positive impact in the world.
Senior Program Advisor
Noreen has more than 20 years experience working with affordable housing, energy efficiency, and sustainable community issues. Prior to joining ICAST, she directed several major HUD projects including the Location Affordability Index and the Community Health Index and Assessment Tool. She’s consulted for numerous national housing and community development nonprofits and served as the Director of State and Local Policy for Enterprise Community Partners. Noreen holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the University of Texas-Austin and Bachelor’s degrees in Urban Affairs and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.
Eli received a BA in Environmental Studies from CU Boulder, with a minor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. He has previous non-profit experience working in the grants department, where the goal was sustainable development and entrepreneurial training in rural Zambia. Eli feels strongly about environmental work because it has meaningful impacts that we see every day. In his free time, he enjoys reading and snowboarding.
Leslie is a nonprofit administrative professional with experience in proposal development, grants management, and community outreach. She graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green! Go White!) in 2017 with BA in Arts & Humanities/Public Policy. She hopes to use her skills at ICAST to provide sustainable living options and fight climate change. In her downtime, she can often be found doing grassroots community outreach, trying the newest coffee shop, and binge-watching Netflix.

Nick is a green collar professional with nearly ten years of proven success in the design and implementation of demand side management programs. As the DSM Manager for ICAST, he continues his mission to drive economic, environmental, and social change through energy efficiency. Nick holds degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of Colorado. When not working to expand ICAST’s DSM programs Nick enjoys spending his time in the alpine.
Lyndsay is an experienced renewable energy and demand side management (DSM) guru with over 8 years of utility experience. During her most recent tenure, she had directly managed distributed generation rooftop solar programs for residential and commercial customers in the Colorado and New Mexico service territories, contributed to the development and launch of several DSM programs and managed a renewable energy portfolio (Purchase Power Agreements) consisting of over 3,200 MW of Wind, Solar and Hydro across a total of 8 states. Lyndsay holds a B.S. in Marketing and B.A. in Spanish from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Engineering, Measurement and Verification (M&V)
Ola received her BA in Environmental Engineering with a focus on energy from the University of Colorado. While attending school, she worked with the staff mechanical engineer performing energy audits for a variety of buildings on campus. Post-graduation, Ola went on to do mechanical design, drafting, and energy modeling. She then joined an engineering evaluation firm as a primary engineer, executing Measurement and Verification (M&V) requirements through onsites. Ola has a long history with non-profits facilitating the implementation and evaluation of building upgrades. In her free time, she enjoys playing ultimate Frisbee and experimenting in the kitchen.
Rob conducts energy audits, capital need assessments, and energy modeling for ICAST projects. He has worked in construction for more than 25 years. Rob holds a general contractor’s license, a BPI building analyst certification, NATE certification for HVAC, and is an EPA certified renovator.
Kyle received a BS in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and MS in Renewable Energy Engineering from The University of New South Wales. He has led and participated in a number of capacity building development projects in various countries including Nicaragua, Nepal, Australia and Cambodia. Kyle brings an educational background in building science and renewable energy systems, and a year’s experience as a licensed HERS rater to his position. Outside of work, Kyle can be found either practicing or teaching yoga or enjoying Mother Nature.
Mr. Rockenbaugh is an Engineer with ICAST, providing customers with estimates of costs, savings and rebates for multifamily properties, in addition to consulting, utility allowance analysis, and measurement and verification (M&V). Caleb is the Principal and Founding Engineer with the Isideo Collective, and worked as an engineer with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) for over a half-decade. His experience includes net zero energy residential buildings, high performance schools, as well as data centers and lab facilities, working to minimize energy use and incorporate and maximize renewable energy technologies.
Energy Efficiency Engineer
Charlie works on ICAST’s engineering team supporting the work that ICAST does on multifamily buildings. He is passionate about energy efficiency and has a background in modeling and testing buildings to find ways to make buildings more efficient. Charlie has also worked for the USEPA cleaning up hazardous waste and for the US Peace Corps in Kenya. Charlie received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech. In his free time he is working on home projects with his wife and kids and enjoying the outdoors by biking and skiing.
As the IT Manager for ICAST, Ben provides technical expertise, strategy and direction utilizing 20+ years of experience in the field. Prior to joining ICAST, Ben worked in information technology for building automation, HVAC and construction companies. He holds several technology certifications in systems engineering and administration. Ben is passionate about the positive impact technology offers in providing economic, environmental, and social benefits to communities. In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with family.

Ian manages ICAST’s engineering team and the wide array of consulting work including PACE, RAD, and EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) projects that ICAST takes on. Ian has a background in solar installation and design and holds a NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification. He received his B.S. in Energy-Focused Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has extensive programming and energy modeling experience. Ian is an avid biker and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Suzi works with ICAST’s energy efficiency engineering department as a data analyst, collecting, analyzing, and reporting energy data, and tracking cumulative impact. Suzi has served in a variety of capacities at ICAST including administration, accounting, and operations, and continues her excitement to contribute to ICAST’s mission. Suzi holds a B.A. in Music from Metro State University of Denver and has worked in a range of fields in the past. When Suzi is not at ICAST, she enjoys playing music in her bands, writing, art, board games, reading, and cats.

Brad has spent over 6 years working in HR in the construction industry before joining ICAST. He received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Brad joined ICAST because he identified with the mission of the company. When not at work, he spends his time playing video games, hiking, and snowboarding.
Combine creativity and discipline and you have Monica Paici. Serving as the Marketing Advisor at ICAST, Monica takes on challenging responsibilities, such as digital and social marketing. With 25+ years in the marketing world, she has a practiced hand that creates solutions for even the most difficult of projects. Emma is a graduate from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and a Business minor. She brings a knowledge of science, as well as a passion for marketing to the ICAST team. Emma got her start in the renewable energy industry as an intern at a solar energy organization, and was then an intern for ICAST before becoming a full time Marketing Coordinator. Emma is a Colorado native, has a passion for sports, and loves being outdoors whenever she can.

John manages the operations of ICAST’s Multifamily Building Retrofit program. He has extensive experience in green construction, project scope development, subcontractor relations, process mapping and systems development and has been a member of the committee for the Dept. of Energy to develop energy efficiency training for managers of multifamily properties. John received his B.S. in computer science and business management from Metro State University, and his B.S. in natural resource management from Colorado State University.
Assistant Site Supervisor
Leroy worked for ICAST on a temporary basis as a direct installer. He worked for a program at the Youth Incorporated Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we trained him in basic construction duties. Once he graduated from the program we hired him as an assistant site supervisor. Leroy is responsible for providing assistance to the Field Project Manager with installation and coordinating the students work schedules. Prior to working for ICAST, he was a Mechanic’s Assistant.
Office Administrative Assistant
Berly has spent over 30 years in the administration and customer service fields, starting with her tenure in the US Armed Forces. She joined the ICAST team to help contribute to her community in a meaningful way. In her spare time, Berly enjoys caring for her plants and animals, as well as participating in the yearly MS Bike ride.
Field Project Manager
Nick is the Field Project manager for Salt Lake City, Utah. Nick has been in the construction industry for the last twenty years focusing on projects ranging from residential, commercial, and new construction exteriors. He has been expanding his knowledge of alternative energy systems from hands on application from building off the grid cabins. In his spare time, he can be found skiing, fishing, camping, or whitewater kayaking.

Junior Construction Site Supervisor
Jason has 15 years of experience in the construction industry, managing projects and performing carpentry work. He has yet to work for a non-profit, but is eager to use his construction knowledge to help under-served communities. Jason is a husband and father of three kids. He enjoys traveling, playing basketball (especially with his kids), and shooting pool. He also likes to read success books to help with his personal and professional development.
Anne received her BA from a non-profit university in Illinois, and has 25+ years in the purchasing arena of the residential/commercial construction industry. She has a passion for the environment, and thinks working towards a more sustainable world is vital. When Anne is not working, she enjoys working with her four horses, trail riding, motorcycling, and traveling.
Construction Administrative Assistant
Eileen Sanchez, a native of New Mexico, has worked in administration for 25 years in various positions; bookkeeper, office manager, recruiter assistant and tax preparer. She also spent 15 years with custom home builders. At ICAST, she manages costing and other accounting functions related to construction projects within New Mexico. Eileen is eager to help low income communities save clean energy. She has a husband of 5 years, 2 daughters and a Cocker Spaniel “Niner” (49ers fan!). She loves to serve at church, spend time with family and friends, ref and play volleyball, and loves Minnie Mouse.
Construction Administrative Assistant
Amy has ample construction administration experience, as well as experience scheduling appointments with renters/tenants. She assists with project management, doing whatever is necessary to ensure that each project meets deadlines and remains within the specified budget. Amy enjoys assisting low income housing residents reduce the cost of their utility bills, while also reducing their carbon footprint. In Amy’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping and fishing. She is also an AVID sports fan (Go Utes, Broncos, Jazz and Dodgers!).

She has over 24 years of experience in management, administration, finance, information technology, training, end-to-end business processes, and business development. Jeremiah is the on-site project manager located in Albuquerque, NM. He has 15 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry and received his Bachelors of Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Jeremiah has resided in Albuquerque for 33 years and looks forward to making his city a better place to live. Ed manages ICAST’s various rehab and grant programs. He was a Product Marketing Manager for Arrow Electronics before he decided he wanted shift gears to work in a career focused on sustainability. Ed completed a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver. He enjoys volunteering at Swallow Hill Music Association, Colorado Mountain Biking Association, and Rocky Mountain Wild.
Technical Project Manager
Jeff received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State and his Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado. Jeff worked in computer development at Hewlett Packard for 20+ years as an electrical engineer and engineering manager. He has been very active working in community development as a volunteer with Engineers Without Borders for several years. Jeff is a certified PMI Project Management Professional. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities in the mountains, especially mountain biking.
Richard is a distributed energy resource (DER) manager at ICAST. After a career in Biomedical Science, he earned a MS in Mineral & Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and a Certificate in Environmental & Natural Resources Law & Policy from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. After graduation, Richard was an Economist/Policy Analyst at Western Interstate Energy Board from 2012 to 2019. His principal responsibility, 2017-2019, was managing a project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy that aimed to mitigate barriers to deployment of DERs in the Western U.S. In his leisure time, Richard participates in several endurance sports and reflects his Canadian heritage by playing hockey.

Cindy oversees the sales team at ICAST and brings more than 25 years of experience in operations and sales, leading new capital venture sales teams to Fortune 100 companies. She went to school at CSU and finished her Bachelor’s degree in Business, and has worked in a diverse cross section of companies: from Specialty Retail, Finance, Wholesale Clubs, Correction Facilities, to Auto Parts. Cindy came to ICAST to make an impact. She believes the mission that the organization has will make a difference in our communities and the future of people’s lives. Cindy has 2 teenage boys (15 and 14) that she enjoys spending time with, and loves to travel.
Customer Service Representative
Joe comes to ICAST with over 10 years of experience in customer relations and sales excellence in the hospitality and automotive industries. Having most recently held the roll of Conference Service Manager in San Francisco, he is well versed in communications, technology, event organization, and systems administration. Joe is passionate about strengthening communities, servicing underserved populations, and helping mitigate the impacts of climate change. In his free time he enjoys reading, exploring nature, tinkering with small machines and spending time with his wife and cat.
Customer Service Representative
Stephanie has 10 years of experience in customer service, 4 of which were in the customer care department at Davinci Virtual Office Solutions where she learned a lot about the customer service industry. She is a firm believer in treating others how you would want to be treated, and thinks sustainability education is vital. In her downtime, she enjoys watching football (Go Buckeyes), exploring the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, and playing board/card games with friends.
Business Development Executive – Utah Region
Nate is a business development executive who has previous experience working as a VP of Operations at an energy focused general contracting group, with a personal focus in selling multifamily housing. He was also a Sr. Account Manager, working with trade allies, multifamily, and manufactures to drive energy efficient choices leveraging participation in rebate programs. Nate joined ICAST because he felt it was a perfect mix of his previous roles, and in his free time he enjoys dominating on the office ping pong table.
Inside Sales Consultant
Curt supports ICAST’s business development efforts by calling on potential customers who are undertaking green upgrades to their multifamily properties. Prior to joining ICAST, he was Vice President of a nationally prominent real estate lender, specializing in multifamily financing, including low income communities. Curt has a Master’s degree in Finance and Capital Markets, and a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
Customer Solutions Specialist
Before joining ICAST, James did outreach and assessment for WattSmart Small Business Direct, and was a Lighting Project Facilitator for a lighting company for several years. James lives off of the notion that “less is more,” and is dedicating his professional career to helping the environment. He has two boys, and enjoys the outdoor life that Utah has to offer, including hiking, camping, skiing, and motorcycling.

Mike Smulaga received a business degree from Maryville University. He comes to ICAST with 10 years of low income multifamily incentive experience with utilities and more than 20 years of sales experience in total. He says he likes working for ICAST because he loves the idea of working for a non-profit. When not on the job, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and St. Louis Blues Hockey Games.
Solar Program Manager
Before joining ICAST, Chuck spent 5 years as the executive director of Grid Alternatives Colorado, a low income solar non-profit company that served residential and multifamily households. He also has energy efficiency, green homebuilding, and international disaster response experience. Chuck graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has worked for nonprofits for 15 years and chose ICAST for the social enterprise aspect of our work. Chuck enjoys gardening, mountain climbing, and hiking with his wife Tara and daughters Quinn & Maggie.
Business Development Officer – Missouri Region
Jeff has been in energy efficiency savings sales since 1991. Most recently he worked Consulting design/build for lighting and controls upgrades in St. Louis and nationally. Through his position he has had the chance to work with both the public and the private sector. Jeff likes ICAST because he enjoys helping through all our cost saving and quality upgrading methods. In his free time, Jeff enjoys back yard bbqs and is a musician. He has been a drummer for 30 years in area bands and at his church.
