ICAST Releases Resource Guide for Deploying Innovative Green Technologies in Multifamily Housing
Since 2020, ICAST has been implementing a U.S. Dept. of Energy-funded program to catalyze the mass adoption of very high-efficiency (VHE) heat pump-based HVAC and water-heating technologies in multifamily affordable housing (MFAH). VHE heat pumps can help reduce MFAH residents’ utility bills, cut carbon emissions, and preserve and improve affordable housing. Mass deployment of VHE solutions can also benefit the power grid, create local jobs, and stimulate local economic development.
ICAST is excited to announce that as part of those efforts, it is releasing a Resource Guide that will help multifamily owners and managers, policymakers, utilities, energy efficiency program implementers, and others facilitate the deployment VHE heat pumps in MFAH. Access the Guide here.
