ICAST Wins an Edwards Mother Earth Foundation Grant to Help Launch Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Initiative.
ICAST is delighted to announce that it was selected to receive $90,000 from Edwards Mother Earth Foundation to help launch its Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) initiative. This initiative will deploy ICAST’s innovative One-Stop-Shop (OSS) model in several Californian CCA programs, educating them on the efficiency and innovation of the OSS model, in order to provide high-quality green rehabilitation and workforce training services to local communities. ICAST will develop a Resource Guide to disseminate upon project completion so that others can effectively execute services and broaden awareness about CCAs.

Why Affordable Housing Construction Will Shine Despite COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic has pervaded nearly every aspect of commercial real estate, including the multifamily sector. According to the Wall Street Journal, sudden wide-ranging unemployment due to government-mandated economic shutdowns resulted in almost a third of U.S. apartment dwellers not paying rent in April, which has in turn led to cash-flow concerns for multifamily landlords.

World’s Biggest Solar Plant to Deliver Power at Record-Low 1.35¢ Per kWh
The two-gigawatt Al Dhafra project in Abu Dhabi, the world’s biggest single-site solar installation, is expected to deliver electricity at a record-low US 1.35¢ per kilowatt-hour when it goes into service in 2022.
